Being able to spend time outdoors almost the whole year around is one of Austin's finest amenities. This family of four was all cooped up inside,, due to their house being sited on a hill with a steep drop-off in the backyard. Adding in some decks at the main living area as well as a playscape for the kids created physical and visual connections between indoors and out while allowing the parents to keep an eye on the kids at play.
